Cairo’s food scene never fails to impress when it comes to offering new experiences to try out; be it an extraordinary dining experience, or authentic tastes from faraway lands. In this article, we’ve gathered five food experiences one must try at least once.

While many outlets resort to offering smoked turkey slices in sandwiches, Bird’s serves whole turkey legs that are smoked in the American style. One leg is  99 LE; not much, considering its gigantic size. Bird’s is in Sheikh Zayed, and it delivers. Call on 01201003350.

The wobbly Japanese cheesecakes we’ve been drooling over it on Instagram have finally made it to Cairo, thanks to Uncle Fluffy. Branches are scattered all over Cairo; at Mall of Egypt, City Centre in Maadi, Citystars, and Cairo Festival City.

Another Instagram-famous drink that landed in Cairo is the Taiwanese Boba, or bubble tea. For those who are not acquainted with the beverage, it’s a tea-based drink that comes in various flavours, with the addition of Boba pearls. What are those? Translucent balls formed of tapioca; a starch extracted from the cassava root.

Sounds interesting? Try it out at Maadi’s FengCha.

Who needs to have breakfast at Tiffany, when one can enjoy a delightful summer morning that includes wholesome breakfast and an ambience that carries Azza Fahmy’s aesthetic? It’s is not in Cairo, however, so if you happen to be in Sahel, head to Diplo 3’s promenade, where Cake Café nestles inside the Azza Fahmy store as part of a lavish collaboration that gathers the best of both worlds.
