‘Untitled- The Image as an Invisible Witness’ Screening at Townhouse Gallery

As a combination of a film screening, art and commentary ‘Untitled- The Image as an Invisible Witness’ is an attempt to have viewers reflect on the idea of image production and its potential of creating meaning. The screening begins with the Michelangelo Antonioni’s 1966 film ‘Blow-Up’. It tells of a
British photographer’s accidental involvement with a murder that he
happens to capture on his images but first realizes it after blowing up
the image in his studio. The grains of the film blurred out the
murderers face and a stirring story ensues.
