‘Mister President’s Circus’ Exhibition at Townhouse Gallery
British photographer John Perkins has been following the state circus around Egypt on and off since the 50s. During that time, he has accumulated a series of photographs depicting performers’ lives on and off the stage. A selection of the photographs will be showcased in Townhouse’s First Floor space, alongside an installation of circus paraphernalia. Be sure to check out the opening on May 22nd, as performers from the circus have been invited to hold an exclusive show that night.
