Finding Neverland: Exhibit of Street Childrens’ Photography at the Cairo Opera House
In “Capturing Neverland” photographer Sarah Khatem has developed a project in which street children in Cairo produce the art. This exhibit captures the vision and emotion of young children, as Khatem “seeks to untap the hidden Neverlands of those forgotten youth in a land wracked with a range of turmoils and obstacles to a child’s joyful innocence.” The initiative is headed entirely by the young artist, and it’s opening ceremony is held this evening at Kasr El Fonoon at the Opera House.
