‘Desire, Deceit & Difficult Deliveries’ by Doa Aly at Townhouse Gallery
Having taken almost three eyars to complete, ‘Desire, Deceit & Difficult Deliveries’ is Cairene artist Doa Aly’s first solo exhibition. The body of work takes inspiration from Ovid’s ‘Metamorphoses’, and tells the stories of four characters’ experiences of love and loss – and the effects of such tourment on the body.
The gallery is closed on Thursday and Friday mornings, and between 2PM and 6PM each day.
