D-CAF Festival: ‘Sing Egyptian Women’ & ‘Tracks of Cairo’ Screening at Radio Theatre
Through a broad marketing contest in both Egyptian and international
markets, the ‘Sing Egyptian Women, Let the World Hear You’ initiative
aims to attract a diverse group of inspiring Egyptian female singers. Tonight some of the contestants will perform as part of the Downtown Contemporary Arts Festival. The concert is followed by a screening ‘ of ‘Tracks of Cairo’; a documentary about the contemporary music scene of Cairo by Alex Brief & Johannes Roskamm. Admission is free.
