D-CAF Festival: Dance Double Bill at Falaki Theatre
Two dance performances will be held today at Falaki Theatre. The first, titled ‘An Empty House for Hospitality’ – choreographed by Laurence Rondoni & Mohamed Shafik – is an interpretation of the awkwardness that lingers between a host and their guest before the ice is broken. It will be followed by Mohamed El Deeb’s ‘What is Left’; a misanthropic portrayal of humanity’s social distaste and careless destruction of the Earth through waste and pollution.
