D-CAF Festival: All Night Cinema: ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ at Radio Theatre
A trio of films will be playing into the early hours at Downtown’s Radio Theatre. The focus this week is on documentaries about peaceful social movements and civil disobedience worldwide. Screenings include: ‘The Thing Next Door’ (2012) by Antje Hubert (German, with Arabic subtitles), ‘Tous au Larzac’ (2011) by Christian Rouaud (French, with English and Arabic subtitles) and ‘AI WEIWEI: NEVER SORRY’ (2012) by Alison Klayman (English and Mandarin with Arabic and English subtitles). Free tea and coffee will be available throughout the evening and attendance is free.
