‘Characters of Egypt’ Festival at Heisa Island, Aswan
The
Characters of Egypt Festival is a three-day
encounter of diverse cultures organised
by the Wafaa El Nil NGO in collaboration
with the Egyptian Tourism Authority. This annual event brings together
representatives from 33 different ethnic
groups in Egypt to celebrate our diversity through music, dance and
sports festivities. Additionally, a number of
informative workshops will take place
during the event, as well as a wide array of exhibitions
will take place such as photography and
