The “Lens of Islamic Art” exhibition opens on 27th February and runs until 29th March 2025 at the Karma Ibn Hani Cultural Centre, Ahmed Shawky Museum. Organised by the Fine Arts Sector under Dr Walid Qannoush, the exhibition will showcase the winning entries from this year’s “Lens of Islamic Art” photography competition. A collaboration between Adasa Photography Club and Egypt’s Ministry of Culture, the competition encourages photographers to capture the beauty and intricacies of Islamic art in Egypt and beyond. Visitors can explore the exhibition daily from 9 AM to 9 PM, except Fridays and Mondays, at the museum’s premises on Ahmed Shawky Street, Giza.
