CJC presents the wonderful Jamila and The Other Heroes coming all the way from Berlin for the very first time in Egypt. As the opening act, they have Luka and The Watermelons taking the stage with their cheerful indie tunes then Jamila and The Other Heroes will take over. Jamila -the band leader- is a Palestinian born in Berlin and raised by her refugee father. This upbringing greatly shaped her character and made her an activist who’s aiming to change the world for the better. She uses these strong missions as an influence on her music thus resulting in a one-of-a-kind mix of psychedelic guitar riffs, bass runs, Arab percussion sounds, as well as heavy hip hop & rock-influenced drum beats.
