The Brazilian Embassy in Egypt is collaborating with the Egyptian Ministry of Culture to bring you “Back to Egypt: a Brazilian Collection of Photographs”. These photographs are a selection of Emperor Dom Pedro II’s extensive collection of photographs which he amassed during his vast travels all over the world during the 19th century. The mini-collection -featuring a fraction of the photographs of Egypt- is on loan from The National Library of Rio De Janeiro as it is also documented in UNESCO’s “Memory Of The World” program due to its historical importance. All of this and much more makes this gallery a one-of-a-kind experience for any Egyptian, photography enthusiast, and history fanatic out there.

The gallery will be displayed starting from the 3rd of November until the 30th of the same month daily -except Fridays- from 10 am to 2 pm and from 5-9 pm as well.
