Aya Tarek’s exhibition -TOKEN- is presented at Kodak Passageway this month. In this exhibition, Aya seeks to express her free herself and the audience of the over-consumption that we as Egyptians have fallen prey to. due to this consumption, societal norms changed and influenced our views of life and on social media while uprooting the measure of success and setting in new standards based on consumption. This exhibition is an eye-opening one that will take the viewers on a ride to force them to reevaluate their lives and their consumption mannerism.
