We can’t stop talking about the famous artists who came and performed in Egypt over the last couple of months! Egypt saw a live performance by the legendary Red Hot Chili Peppers, as well as concerts by the likes of James Arthur and French Montana. All this is getting us all excited for summer 2019, as we wonder which international artists will rock Egyptian stages next.
This very long weekend was no exception; whether you went to Ain El Sokhna or El Gouna, you could have seen an international artist performing live in Egypt. Performing in El Gouna Beach Polo’s After Party, the 29-year-old rapper, Micheal Ray Stevenson – aka Tyga- has re-ignited our love for rap music. Additionally, Tyga posted a picture of him by the Pyramids with an Instagram caption which read: “I’m a King. Regardless of what I’ve been through and what I’ve done, I present myself as a King.”
Tyga was not the only one performing at the previously mentioned after party, as Inna and Nelly both shook the stage with their amazing vocals. Inna opened the party with her breathtaking voice and made the crowd go wild. Egypt welcomed Inna with a warm hug as she kept using Arabic words through her performance, showing her love for Egyptian culture and language.
As for Nelly, he sang the night away and closed the party with his performance of old songs that got the crowd screaming with nostalgia. Nelly has previously performed in Egypt, and has been pronouncing his love for our country!
Elsewhere, in Sokhna, American singer, songwriter, and vocalist, Carisa Zhavia Ward – known professionally as Zhavia- took the stage by storm last night, alongside Egypt Calendar. Zhavia hyped-up the crowd with her mesmerising voice. Zhavia has become known via a popular singing reality television show called The Four: Battle for Stardom, and it seems like she is already on her way to becoming the next big thing. Zhavia also took to Instagram, where she posted several pictures of herself at the Pyramids.
Get ready for summer 2019 Egyptians. It’s going to be a blast!
