The BRGR Truck: New Additions to the Menu at Mall of Arabia’s The Park
burgers in Cairo cairo city city life egypt food food review Restaurants review The BRGR TruckEvery time we give The BRGR Truck a try, there’s always something new to talk about; one review, The BRGR Truck is but a silver truck; another, it’s a cool container; here we are now, trying out The BRGR Truck’s latest dine-in branch.
Located inside Mall Of Arabia’s The Park, The BRGR Truck boasts a spacious spot at the food hall. We love how eye-pleasing the design is, thanks to the choice of the familiar-looking red bricks, with touches of black and greens here and there. The seating is definitely much more comfortable than the outdoor high tables that we’ve encountered before, when The BRGR Truck moved around. The best part about this branch is that you can easily watch the pancakes chef in action right next to the cashier!
The menu saw a list of new additions, including salads, shakes, and an array of chicken items. We ended up ordering the Moroccan Salad (85LE), Buffalo Bites (45LE), Chicken BRGR (80LE), Double Original Burger (80LE), and a Lotus Shake (65LE).
Starting with the salad, it consisted of lettuce, a generous amount of raisins and almonds, red and white cabbage, goat cheese, labneh, croutons, and served with a super tangy raspberry honey balsamic dressing. We loved the unusual flavours, and the portion of the salad was huge and definitely fulfilling.
Served in a super light and fresh butter toasted bun, the Chicken BRGR came in the form of a fried chicken breast, topped with melted cheddar cheese, lettuce, homemade pickles, and a terrific buttermilk-and-herb-mayo sauce that was definitely the star of the sandwich. Overall, it was a good sandwich, but we were hoping for more flavours from the chicken, whose crust could have been crispier.
The Buffalo Bites, on the other hand, boasted the crispier crust that we were looking for in the fried chicken. As for the buffalo sauce, it was delightfully tangy and mildly spicy. For dipping, the bites were served a ranch sauce, which well prepared.
Honestly, we couldn’t leave without ordering a good ol’ double cheeseburger from BRGR, and it’s better than ever; served in a fresh bun with the right amount of BRGR sauce, along with melted cheddar cheese, fresh lettuce, and tomato. As for the smashed patties, they were both perfectly seasoned and crusty.
We finished our burger night-out with Lotus shake. The milkshake’s balanced consistency was loaded with bits and crumbs of Lotus biscuit, as well as Lotus spread; simplicity at its best.
Enjoyable by all means, The BRGR Truck’s branch at Mall of Arabia serves a more comfortable and convenient experience that comes with a wider spectrum of choices. A fan of The BRGR Truck will definitely want to try this one out.
