Ted’s Launches New Menu with Spectacular Nine-Course Dinner Event

There’s something in the saying, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. But it’s not a saying that sits too well in the world of food – a saying that Ted’s doesn’t abide by.
Located at Citystars, the restaurant has been something of a revelation since it opened, boasting one of the best experiences of its kind in Cairo; one that is perfect for Talking, Eating and Drinking.
The second two have experienced something of a revamp as of late – a subtle one, yes, but one that certainly makes a difference as we got to find out this week. Cairo’s best and brightest got the chance to sample it for the first time at a suitably chic and demure launch that saw some of the country’s top influencers and movers-and-shakers get together to talk, eat and drink, including Yara El Gendy, Sarah Abu Ela, Dina Mowafy and Farida El Khadem, just to name a few.
With the help of Lebanese chef, Antoine Elias, Ted’s has crafted a new menu that has reworked almost all of the dishes, while adding some interesting new additions that play around ingredients in some rather creative ways. With talented musician, Amy Frega, who has been making waves recently as part of the duo, Voice & Bass, with Samer George, the launch itself promised to take attendees on a trip around the globe and the kitchen certainly didn’t disappoint.
A total of 30 different dishes were served across a hearty nine-course menu – from the scrumptious new sliders to the mammoth beef tenderloin, diners were treated to a fest of the highest order – one that we recommend you try for yourself immediately.
