Place 2 Be is quite close to the Thakanat El-Maadi metro station, which works perfectly for people commuting by metro. Taking a friend with us, we decided to try out Place 2 Be and see how it fares from our point of view.

The decoration of the place is nice and simple, but what we really liked is the fact that the seating is comfortable and quite spacious. It’s not like other spots where tables are crammed so close to each other you can hardly get in and out of your seat. Their outdoor seating area is also a great option on a good weather day.

At the time of our visit, there was an important football match, and they had it displayed on the many screens in the venue. So if you’re into football, Place 2 Be will work for you, and if not (like us) you can just take your place away from the loud noise of the TV screens.

We asked the staff for their recommendations, and they told us that pizzas are their signature dish, and they had an offer that week where you get a free pizza for every two you order. Their pizzas come in one size, which is a bit bigger than your usual medium pizza, satisfying one person and perhaps even more.

Seizing that offer, we opted for the Vegeteriano Pizza (60 EGP), the Fungi Pizza (59.5 EGP), and we took the Margherita (50.5 EGP) as our bonus pizza. They served us our order promptly, and the pizzas were fresh and delicious. Their crust is quite thin and well cooked, and the cheese is very tasty and comes in generous portions. Fans of light pizzas will be especially happy here, the Margherita in particular.

Overall, Place 2 Be is a spacious and comfortable place to relax with friends and family. They have a lot of TV screens if you’re looking to catch the game, their breakfast menu is diverse and reasonably priced, they have various drinks and shisha, and their pizzas are quite delicious.
