The Republic

Designed in a unique vintage style, this Mohandessin restaurant will wow you from the first look. Second look, at the menu, you’ll find a bunch of options to choose from in terms of meats and pastas. And while their meat is quite delicious, their pastas definitely top the list. Perfectly cooked pasta with delicious sauces and additions make this one of the best pasta bars in town.

Porta D’oro

Located in Americana Plaza and Mohandessin, this Italian restaurant offers relatively reasonable prices for its vast options. You can opt for their pizzas, pastas, or main dishes, and you’ll be equally delighted.

The White Owl

Serving up fresh homemade pasta, The White Owl makes no fuss about what it is, they go for simplicity, and in this, they excel. They have pasta combinations not found anywhere else, with perfectly cooked al dente pasta, and they also offer vegan options. With perhaps one of the best pastas in town, you’ll surely be enjoy your time there.

Pane Vino

The InterContinental Semiramis restaurant boosts a frontal view of the Nile, Cairo Tower, and the Cairo Opera House. Prices are certainly high, but such is to be expected of a hotel restaurant, and when it comes to taste, they definitely deliver.

Spaghi

Spaghi makes a very strong claim for the best pasta in town, but that’s not all they have to offer, their pizzas are also quite delicious with excellent cheese and puffy dough. Located in Al Guezira Plaza, this spot only got better after the grand opening.

La Trattoria

While you do pay the price for it, La Trattoria serves up a high-end Italian restaurant experience in the heart of Zamalek. Soft jazz music playing on the side boosts the menu’s offerings of authentic Italian main dishes, pastas, and desserts. 

Eish & Malh

One of our favourite spots in town, Eish & Malh has the decoration, size, delicious menu, and the soul to make it a top restaurant in Cairo. Located in Downtown, it boasts a number of signature dishes that are as adventurous as they are rewarding. Their unique dishes are what make them quite special, in addition to their periodical events, whether it’s live music, or a food market on their second floor.

Bella

Four Seasons Nile Plaza had to make its way onto this list with its impeccable restaurant, Bella. Authentic in every meaning of the word, their puffy dough make the pizzas and Italian loaves stunningly tasty. Moving on to the main dishes, choice, presentation, quality, and taste are all at a premium level. Worth the price? You be the judge of that.
