Whatever it is, we love it, and if you’re anything like us, you’d probably find the upcoming Tango Shot event this June nothing short of mesmerising!

Courtesy of the Egyptian Tango Project, a venture committed to transporting the real, authentic tango spirit of Buenos Aires to Egypt through different events and workshops, Egypt will be gifted with the 3rd edition of the Tango Shot event this weekend, from June 7th to June 8th.

During the occasion, Jeannette Erazú and Leandro Capparelli, the renowned tango maestros and artists, will grace everyone with their unmatched presence and lessons. From teaching the attendees to performing their own choreographed routines, Erazú and Capparelli are bound to electrify the whole event.

There will be six different workshops, five of which are tango and one of which is a ladies’ technique workshop. The 3rd edition of the Tango Shot is guaranteed to cater to all levels alike. So whether you’re a seasoned dancer who knows their way around the twists and turns or a beginner still trying to get into tango, you will enjoy it—we promise!

The 3rd edition of Tango Shot will find a home in El Mohandessin’s Soul Motion Dance Studio. For over a decade now, Soul Motion Dance Studio has been revolutionising the dance scene in Egypt with its intense dedication to building a homely dance community, more akin to a safe space and comfort zone for dancers to learn, dance, and connect with fellow dancers. Their classes encompass salsa, bachata, urban kiz, and afro classes.
