In the midst of the deadly heatwave we’re witnessing, Nacelle’s Shorelines Festival is making a much-needed, refreshing comeback. Just like the previous years, this eagerly awaited festival is returning for its fifth edition with a star-studded line-up. With that said, it’s time to jump into your linen shirts, crochet bralettes, and of course, swimsuits for a two-day event by the beach full of mingling, dancing, and only good vibes.

Shorelines’ Fifth Edition

Shorelines is organised by the highly regarded Nacelle Events, who are known for throwing the best parties in town. Its fifth edition takes place on Thursday, the 27th of July, at Sahel’s ultimate spot, Almaza Bay. While it used to run for three days pre-pandemic, this year it’s been cut down to only two days ending on Friday night.

Line-Up

Concertgoers will get to lose themselves to the beats of many performers and hit DJs. This year’s line-up brings a diversity of sounds from all over the globe, from Austrian-based DJ and producer DEMUJA to Egypt’s very own Moenes and Nova Retra. These will be playing during the pre-party held on Thursday night. As for Friday’s all-day beach party, an R&B musical project of Canadian origins, Rhye, will be headlining. Supporting them are local artists Hashem, Jess, Chiati, and Juno with their own performances.

Tickets

The first wave of tickets is already sold out, but the second wave is currently available – albeit at a higher price. Full passes cost EGP 4000, while Friday’s beach day access is half-price at EGP 2000. The latter only gives access to the main grounds of the beach, unlike the full pass, which grants you access to Thursday night’s pre-party, Friday’s day by the beach, and the at-night party.
