Cairo 360
Following the success of his last year’s concert in Egypt, renowned French pianist Richard Clayderman made his way back to his Egyptian fans on Valentine’s Day, when he took the stage at Al Manara Theatre in New Cairo.
Clayderman, or should we say the Prince of Romance – a title bestowed upon him by former First Lady of the US, Nancy Regan – boasts numerous albums that carry his magical touch of some of the world’s most famous classics, including Titanic, and Love Story.
Having played in over 40 countries around the globe, Clayderman stated that the energy that comes from the Egyptian audience serves him a unique experience.
“During my previous visit to Cairo, I was overwhelmed by the love I received from the public and their response to my music. I fell in love with the gracious people of Egypt, so I decided to play for them again this Valentine’s Day,”
And before heading to the stage, he promised his fans that this Valentine’s Day would be unforgettable. Indeed, it was memorable. Imagine the Prince of Love himself, lovingly playing romantic tunes for the lovers on Valentine’s Day – wouldn’t that be an everlasting memory for anyone?
