Taking over Dahab’s Blue Lagoon between the 27th and the 29th of September, Red Bull’s Winds of Sinai is back with another edition. Besides marking the biggest kitesurfing competition in Egypt, Winds of Sinai is a gathering for all open water sports enthusiasts in a vibrant and adrenaline-rushing ambience.

 

Judging Criteria

At Red Bull Winds of Sinai, the judging criteria are crafted to align with the sport’s progression and the event’s specific demands. It is judged based on height, extremity, technical precision, and clean execution; their top three tricks determine each rider’s final score.

An impression score is also awarded, considering factors such as various tricks, individual style, risk-taking, and overall showmanship. The evaluation is curated to not only emphasise technical skill but also to celebrate creativity and performance flair.

Calling all skilled kitesurfers, registration for the competition is now open. From August 15th to September 10th, this is your chance to showcase your talents and compete against the best in the sport at one of Egypt’s most picturesque beaches.
