Just as keen on investing in the Egyptian real estate market through developing various quality projects across the nation, Inertia Egypt invests in the community; supporting individuals in multiple fields to become a better version of themselves, especially athletes.
Believe it or not, but Egypt is still a winner despite the AFCON loss, with the exceptional talents of Judoka star Ramadan Darwish, Romanian Wrestler Hassan Hassan, as well as tennis prodigy Layla Shoukry. Inertia Egypt has been backing them up with the means to access the tools and the technical support necessary, in addition to the psychological support that they needed. The real estate company’s support so far been deemed a success for the three champions, as each was able to excel and collect gold medals.
Having earned gold at the Montreal Grand Prix Judo Championships that was held earlier this month, Ramadan Darwish now occupies 6th place in the -100 Kg world rankings and the 4th in the Olympic rankings for individuals.
Taking down Canadian Shadi Al Nahas in the final qualified Darwish to compete at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. 2018 was a good year for Ramadan, as he won a bronze in the Judo World Championship that was held in China, and another in Uzbekistan Grand Prix. Also, he broke the world record, becoming the champion of the Mediterranean Games for the third consecutive time.
As for wrestler Hassan Hassan, earned a gold medal in the Africa Championship for the 72 Kg category that was held in Tunisia last April and who had also won a silver at the World Youth Championship in Slovakia last year. Among his other achievements is earning the fifth place in the World Championship for Adults.
When it comes to Layla Shoukry; the 13-year-old tennis champion won first place gold medal in the African championship in Algeria. As well as winning the African Championship with the national team and getting qualified for the World Cup. The young athlete made it big both locally and internationally at the age of 12 when she ranked number 1 in Africa. Having won several individual and group tournaments, Shoukry is expected to represent Egypt in the 2021 Roland Garros, as well as the 2022 Youth Olympics.
It fills us with pride to see how our champions stand tall, as well as to know that Inertia Egypt has made its mission to stand behind these talents. We’re looking forward to following these stars in their upcoming challenges.
