The pandemic has been making headlines for so long this year that we almost forgot about the game we excel in. But lo and behold, here comes CIB PSA World Tour for the second edition, rekindling our flame for squash.

Taking place at Mall of Arabia’s The Park Mall from the 28th of September to the 3rd of October, the tournament brings the world’s best 16 men and women in the game. The world championship has two categories, one for women and another for men, each gathering the eight highest-ranking players. The prize? A hefty 310,000 USD prize pool divided equally between the two categories.

It’s worth noting that Egypt’s renowned sports hub Wadi Degla Clubs is the official organiser of CIB PSA 2020 World Tour. And why not, when it prides itself in having three champs participating; Nouran Gohar, the number one in Women’s 2020 PSA World Rankings, as well as Ali Farag and Karim Abdel Gawad who rank the second and the third on Men’s 2020 PSA World Rankings respectively.

Needless to say, the CIB PSA World Tour will have us hanging on the edge of our seats; imagine watching the sport’s finest players competing. We can’t wait!
