The Cairo 360 Editors’ Choice Awards is back for 2018, as we take the time to salute the best that Egypt’s capital has to offer in everything from dining, nightlife and hospitality, to arts & culture, health & fitness and shopping.

Since launching in 2010, Cairo 360 has cemented itself as the definitive guide to living in the capital and the Cairo 360 Editors’ Choice Awards were created to pay tribute to the best and most consistently great venues in a city that never fails to surprise.

As always, the process of choosing the winners was challenging, with plenty of new venues having landed in the capital. After a series of intense discussions and debates between our editors and writers, and a process of shuffling through reviews of over 8000 restaurants and cafes, 320 bars and clubs, 5800 shops, over 30 hotels and hundreds of galleries, cultural centres, beauty parlours, gyms and more, we’ve selected winners spanning over 30 categories.

In compiling this list of winners, we have held the Cairo 360 criteria to the highest standards, with factors such as quality of product or service, value-for-money and atmosphere taken into account, as well as other aspects, such as consistency and longevity.

It’s this long and intricate process, which maintains that only the true and consistent best get the Cairo 360 seal of approval!
