With the start of the new academic year, it’s the perfect time to shed light on the topic of foreign scholarships. There are so many academic opportunities and institutions out there that facilitate the process of studying abroad for Egyptian students, starting with the Korean Cultural Center in Egypt. This makes sense since South Korea has over 370 official higher education providers, including 29 schools ranked in the QS World University Rankings 2019, according to Top Universities.
In a piece by Sada El Balad English (SEE), the South Korean Cultural Center (SKCC) has started receiving applications for university scholarships, fully funded by the South Korean government, for the upcoming academic year. From the 19thSeptember until the 8th October, undergrads who have any major, a minimum high school score of 80%, and are keen on studying in South Korea, can visit the centre’s headquarters in Dokki to turn in their papers.
If you want to learn more about this valuable opportunity, you can attend the free orientation session tomorrow (18th September) at the SKCC from 2 to 4 pm. Registration starts on the same day at 1:30 and priority of access will be given to attendees who arrive early. For further details about the Korean Government Scholarship Program (GKS), check their Facebook post with data on the application files, other opportunities, and more.
Korea is known for its powerful school system, so it’s time that we join the journey to better learning.
