We’ve all had our Lizzie McGuire moments where we thought “this is what dreams are made of”, but Omar Soliman tried his luck, and his dreams turned into reality.
With nothing to lose, Omar Soliman, a high school student who loves coding, took to Twitter. Soliman simply wrote a tweet and tagged Naguib Sawiris asking for him to pay for his tuition fees.
@NaguibSawiris مينفعش تدي طالب ثانوية عامة غلبان زيي نفسه يدرس Computer Science منحة لجامعة النيل ولا اتوكل علي الله وأدخل تجارة؟ ????????

The tweet said: “@NaguibSawiris How about you offer a struggling high school student like me a scholarship to study computer science at Nile University? Or do I trust God and study commerce?”

It was also mentioned in a tweet between Soliman and his friends that he has been facing “psychological and financial difficulties.”
In less than 30 minutes, Sawiris responded to Soliman’s tweet, saying: “It’s possible, send me your number” to which Soliman replied to Sawiris with gratitude on Twitter, writing, “I’m very grateful and thankful to you until the last breath in my life!”Soliman confirmed that the businessman has offered to cover his tuition fees at Nile University, adding that he did not expect such a response.
In response to a Twitter user who wrote, “It would be great if he follows through with his promise,” Sawiris tweeted, “There’s no such thing as ‘if he follows through’. I am always honest.”
We can officially say that Sawiris has Soliman’s back and will pay his tuition fees. Thank you, Naguib Sawiris for making us believe that there are still great people in the world, and best of luck to you Soliman!
