Now that our nation’s fight against COVID-19 is at its peak, individuals and establishments are joining the battle, each offering what they can to overcome the pandemic that has put so many aspects of our lives on hold.
Among the local establishment showing solidarity with the nation is Groupe SEB Egypt, the parent company to brands Moulinex, Tefal, and Zahran. Groupe SEB Egypt is manufacturing walk-in sanitizing stations in its factory in Borg El Arab, offering them for donation to Tahya Masr Fund, which, in turn, distributed them among several hospitals and official institutes across the nation. In addition, the company donated various appliances that are crucial in light of the current circumstances, including kettles and steam irons.
“Groupe SEB’s internationalization is supported by the consolidation of global social core values based on the principles of respect for individuals, so I am very grateful to our employees and workers for their determination and commitment to achieve our values, by delivering the best experience for our customers and to contribute in facing the COVID-19.” – Hanane Badra, Managing Director Middle East & Egypt.
Groupe SEB Egypt was founded in 2013. In 2018, the international home appliances giant, Groupe SEB, joined forces with Egypt’s leading cookware and home appliances company, Zahran family. This partnership expanded the range of locally manufactured appliances to cover items like vacuum cleaners, blenders, and food processors, and Cookware… sold under the brand names of Tefal, Moulinex and Zahran. The products are on offer at various retailers, main distributors, and, of course our 16 owned Zahran’s Stores, which you can find in Cairo, Mansoura, Hurghada, North Coast, and Alexandria… and soon in Upper Egypt.
