Esports Summit (ESS) is set to return to Egypt for its sixth edition this September, with an expanded programme focused on gaming, esports, competition, and community participation. Following more than 10,000 attendees in 2025, the 2026 edition is targeting approximately 15,000 visitors and will introduce new interactive experiences, competitions, and opportunities for emerging content creators.

ESS Expands Its Gaming and Esports Programme

Since its launch in 2018, Esports Summit has developed into a major gathering for Egypt’s gaming and esports community. The sixth edition is being organised in collaboration with the Egyptian Esports Federation, connecting the event with the country’s wider esports ecosystem and supporting its operation in accordance with the relevant regulations governing the sector. ESS 2026 will place greater emphasis on visitor participation, allowing attendees to engage directly with gaming activities rather than simply watching competitions.

Gen Gamers Arena Introduces New Interactive Experiences

A key addition to this year’s event is the Gen Gamers Arena, which will offer gaming activities designed for participants across different ages and skill levels. The arena will feature a range of games and platforms, providing opportunities for both experienced competitive players and casual gamers to participate. Visitors will be able to compete in activities, earn points through gameplay, and exchange their points for prizes and giveaways.

EGP 1.5 Million in Prizes and Giveaways

ESS 2026 will offer prizes and giveaways with a total value of EGP 1.5 million. The initiative is designed to encourage greater participation across the event’s gaming activities. Through the Gen Gamers Arena, attendees can collect points by taking part in different games and challenges, which can then be redeemed for available prizes and giveaways.

New Opportunities for Emerging Content Creators

Gaming content creators will also have a dedicated presence at this year’s summit. FWZ, the organiser behind ESS and owner of the event’s intellectual property, is launching a micro and nano creators programme aimed at emerging creators. The programme will provide selected young creators with tools and resources to produce content during the event, while also allowing them to invite their communities to attend ESS. The initiative aims to support emerging talent and strengthen the role of content creators within Egypt’s growing gaming ecosystem.

ESS 2026 Targets 15,000 Visitors

The expected increase in attendance reflects the continued growth of Egypt’s gaming and esports community. More than 10,000 visitors attended ESS in 2025, while organisers are targeting approximately 15,000 attendees for the 2026 edition. According to Eng. Ahmed Abdel Latif, CEO of FWZ Esports, the summit was established to provide Egyptian gamers with a professional environment where they could compete, engage with one another, and become part of a wider gaming community. As the event has expanded since its first edition in 2018, this objective has remained central to its development.

With new interactive gaming experiences, the Gen Gamers Arena, EGP 1.5 million in prizes and giveaways, and a dedicated programme for emerging content creators, ESS 2026 is set to offer a broader experience for Egypt’s gaming community. The sixth edition will also reflect the continued expansion of the country’s esports scene and its growing audience.
