This week saw the first glimpse of winter, and the rainy weather –according to our sources- is expected to continue during the weekend. Brace yourself, and don’t let the weather keep you from enjoying the various events that Cairo is offering. Here’s the deal:
This Thursday, The Sinatras take to the stage at Darb 1718 for a round of classics

Thursday starts with a Frank Sinatra tribute night at Darb 1718, where The Sinatras take to the stage for a round of covers, a rock night at ROOM Art Space Garden City courtesy of local band Taht El Sefr, and a folk music night at El Dammah Theater, with Amwag, from Port Said, taking to the stage.
Elsewhere, El Bab Art Hub hosts a night that sees Wonder playing a round of covers, El Sawy Culturewheel welcomes Wael El Fashny on Wisdom Hall’s stage for some Arabic contemporary songs, while the venue’s River Hall sees a Metallica tribute night, courtesy of Vyrus.
The day also sees the beginning of Le Marché, the biggest home décor and furniture show in Africa and the Middle East, which will take place at Egypt International Exhibition Center, until the 27th of October.
When the night grows older, DJ IKE takes to the decks for a round of pop tunes at The Tap East, DJ Teddy spins the same genre at The Tap West, while DJ Mobbz serves a host of R&B and hip-hop tunes at The Tap Maadi.
Glass Onion take to the stage this Friday at Cairo Jazz Club for a round of The Beatles covers

Cairo Jazz Club 610 hosts the third edition of Impulse, which sees Italian duo Mind Against playing IDM, house, and techno songs, before Richard R takes over, while Cairo Jazz Club welcomes Cat Stevens cover band cAT, as well as The Beatles cover band Glass Onion, to take to the stage.
When Friday comes, Nouran Abou Taleb takes to the stage at Darb 1718 for a round of Arabic jazz tunes, Klaxics sing Acappella versions of some classic tunes at ROOM Art Space Garden City, while Tango Legends Company Argentina take to the Main Hall’s stage at Cairo Opera House for a performance.
Meanwhile, El Sawy Culturewheel’s River Hall sees Ramy Abou El Fettouh taking to the stage to cover some Arabic 90’s all time favourites, MASQ hosts Nordic Nights, serving some various Nordic arts, while Cairo Opera House’s Open-Air Theatre sees an Oriental night of music, courtesy of Oshak El Nagham.
Delving deeper into the night, Cairo Jazz Club’s Ma Yatloboho Al Mostame3oon sees Hamid El Sha’ery taking to the stage, before DJunkie takes over, DJ Ayman Nageeb plays some soul tunes at The Tap East, while DJ Feedo, and DJ Soul M spin some R&B and hip-hop tunes at The Tap West. The Tap Maadi delivers a rock night courtesy of Blacrok, who take to the stage before DJ Teddy finishes the night.
The Gypsy Jazz Project take to the stage at ROOM Art Space Garden City this Saturday

As for Saturday, ROOM Art Space Garden City hosts a jazz night, courtesy of The Gypsy Jazz Project, El Sawy Culturewheel welcomes El Zahrawan for a Sufi night, while Darb 1718 sees a rap night, where Lege-Cy, and Raptor take to the stage.
Nouran Abou Taleb takes to the stage for the second time around this weekend, but at The Tap West this time around, Double Trouble take to the stage at The Tap East for a rock night, while DJ Islam Chipsy, and Sadat take to the decks for a round of electro-sha’by tunes on Cairo Jazz Club’s night, Saturday L’Oriental.
