Step out of your shell and head to the opening of Cairo’s newest hotspot, Cocoon Cultural Centre next Thursday night, the 20th of February, from 6:00 PM. The music will be curated by Cairo-based DJs, Mo Guindy and Hussein Marei during a mellow B2B set. Expect visual artwork by Hamdy Reda, Hany Rashed, Mohamed Abla, Omar El Fayoumi, Randa Shaath, Rasha Soliman, Mariam Shaath, Hussein Marei and Malak Ezz El Din.

The gathering is taking place at the famous L’Immeuble Building in Downtown Cairo, which has hosted many iconic Egyptian artists including Abdel Halim Hafez, Farid Al-Atrash, Omar Al Sharif, Mohammed Abdel Wahab, Naguib El-Rihani and Leila Mourad.

The centre aims to expand the creativity of our community through art. You can purchase paintings, sculptures, handmade jewellery, and you can also sign up for its exciting workshops in painting, calligraphy, collage, screenwriting, fashion, creative writing, and so much more.

You can grab a 20% discount on your first workshop class if you’re one of the first 50 attendees, so make it there early!
