When it comes to internationally-acclaimed circuses, only one name comes immediately to mind, and that is the Canadian entertainment company and the largest theatrical producer in the world, Cirque Du Soleil. For the first time in history, we are beyond thrilled to announce that it’s coming to Egypt sooner than you think!
For those who don’t know, Cirque Du Soleil, or the “Sun Circus” in English, is based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and was originally founded in Baie-Saint-Paul in July 1984, by two former street performers, Guy Laliberté and Gilles Ste-Croix. It essentially exploded through the 1990s and 2000s, expanding from one single show to 19 shows in over 271 cities on every continent except Antarctica. And it’s finally here!

With its latest show creation, Bazzar, presented by Etisalat, hosted by Hyde Park Developments, and organised by Alchemy Project Entertainment, the biggest circus show in the world will take place from the 19th of September until the 6th of October in New Cairo. We checked out the official event page to read up on Bazzar and came across this description:
“Cirque Du Soleil BAZZAR is an eclectic lab of infinite creativity where a joyful troupe of acrobats, dancers and musicians craft an awe-inspiring spectacle. Lead by their maestro, they band together to invent a whimsical one-of-a-kind universe. In a place where the unexpected is expected, the colourful group reimagines, rebuilds and reinvents vibrant scenes in an artistic, acrobatic game of order and disorder.”
Check out more about Bazzar on their website.
As for the tickets, they are currently available for each of the 18 days, and the description reads that prices range from 650 to 3700 LE, based on your choice of category, including Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Royal. Check the full details on TicketsMarche.
Bazzar is Cirque Du Soleil’s 43rd original production, and we can’t wait to see what happens right here in Cairo.
