Forever Is Now is a contemporary art exhibition featuring regional and international artists who explore the wonders of an ancient civilisation through their unique practices. Taking over the Pyramids every year, the exhibition has never failed to leave its attendees in awe. The 4th Edition and What to Expect
This year, Forever Is Now will take place from October 23 to November 16, featuring 12 international artists and two groundbreaking AI projects. Together, they promise to transform the Egyptian art scene and offer fresh perspectives on ancient narratives, travelling back to the past and leaping towards the future.
12 Artists and Their Contemporary Takes on Ancient Themes
This year’s Forever Is Now will feature Chris Levine (UK), who uses light to explore universal truths inspired by the Great Pyramid. Federica Di Carlo (Italy) merges nature and mysticism, symbolising life’s endless possibilities. Ik-Joong Kang (South Korea) creates intricate mosaics reflecting collective memories.
Jake Michael Singer (South Africa) contrasts natural landscapes with urban environments in his large-scale installations. Jean Boghossian (Belgium/Lebanon) employs fire to delve into themes of destruction and rebirth. Jean-Marie Appriou (France) presents dreamlike sculptures that bridge the past, present, and future. Khaled Zaki (Egypt) fuses ancient forms with modern abstracts, resonating with the Pyramids’ timeless essence. Luca Boffi (Italy) invites interaction through optical grids, transforming the Pyramids into a communal canvas.
Marie Khouri (Canada/Lebanon) combines Egyptian heritage and global influences in her flowing designs. Xavier Mascaro (Spain) questions the boundaries between ancient and modern through his architectural sculptures.

Additionally, two groundbreaking AI projects will feature Hassan Ragab (Egypt/USA), blending technology with traditional art, and Daniah Al Saleh (Saudi Arabia), whose video Evanesce reimagines Egyptian cinema through machine learning.
