Thursday 

“Invisible” Exhibition

“Invisible” is a solo exhibition by Hossam Dirar happening on the 1st of March at the factory, townhouse gallery in Cairo.
The exhibition opening will be at 5pm to 10pm. Dirar will also be inviting the visual artists Maher Diab, to be part of his exhibition experience.

“Invisible” is an exhibition focused on Dirar’s experience over the past few years, as he went on a journey of self exploration and understanding of the cosmic life. The exhibition will present paintings, photographs and illustrations of his practices during his stay in Spain about the interconnection of the different cultures and histories both in Spain and the Arab world.

“Invisible” will be open daily from 12pm to 9pm, till the 6th of March.

 

Karaoke Night at Room Art Space New Cairo

Hozho, Galal and DJ Santos at Tempo 

Imagine being so good at what you do that you end up creating your own genre of music. Portuguese DJ and sound producer Hozho created the genre of Melodark by performing harmonious melodies in the middle of darkness. Thanks to Black Out events and Fly Eg, Hozho will perform live on Tempo’s stage this Thursday.

Almazat at Wadi Degla Protectorate 

Be one with nature and let the music take you over in the midst of Wadi Degla’s Protectorate. Get a taste of this mix of Arabian and futuristic eco-art. The lineup of artists who will be performing also perfectly suits the vibe. This full camping rave experience is accompanied by performances from el Waili, Ramez Naguib, Karim Serry, Saint Gully and more.

Sal & G at Kundalini

Not sure if you guys feel the same, but we get really excited about any event that’s happening by the pyramids. Sal & G will be debuting their first big event this Friday at Kundalini. The freshest beats from Chris Stussy, Misty, Antor, Ramez Naguib and Akladios will be played as the sunsets behind the pyramids.

Brush It at The Nile Ritz Carlton 

Valentine’s Day is over, but it doesn’t mean you should stop making plans with your boo. Make your reservations now, and you can thank us later. Make them fall in love with you all over again! Amir Eid at El Falaki Theater 

If Cairokee is one of your favourite bands, you need to listen up. Amir Eid will join one of the first SoldOut Music nights with an acoustic playlist of some of your favourite songs. What’s special about that night is the audience will get to be part of the show. An engaging interview will be taking place where the audience will get to interact with Amir Eid. Yuri Mrakadi at Cairo Jazz Club 610

We all watched his old music videos on Melody Hits back in the early 2000s, and lowkey fell in love with his bad boy aesthetic. This Friday’s concert is his farewell performance, and it will be your last chance to watch him perform live. Djunkie will also be part of the show as he will kick off & wrap up with upbeat tunes.

Kollectiv Label Showcase at Cairo Jazz Club

Our favourite kinds of jokes are the relatable ones that hit close to home. American actor and comedian Maz Jobrani specialises in making jokes about subjects that all Arabs are extremely familiar with.
