For any bookworm dwelling in the city, one of the many perks of staying at home – in addition to dodging the hazardous Coronavirus, of course – is finally finishing as many books as possible without being interrupted.

With this list of bookstores that offer a delivery service, you don’t have to worry about having to go out to get a new book to read. While they all sell new books, some of them offer second-hand ones as well, which, in the light of such circumstances, we don’t recommend buying.   

 Diwan Bookstore:

Shorouk Bookstores:

In addition to offering a wide range of their own publishings, which include many Arabic fiction books by renowned authors, Shorouk Bookstores also has various books for children, as well as books that cover history, philosophy, and more. Check the Facebook page, and Instagram account.

Cherry Blossom Books:

New Cairo’s favourite bookstore is known for its spectrum of adolescent fiction in English, as well as comics and graphic novels. Leila Books:

The Abdeen bookstore now has a website from which you can order whatever Arabic titles that come to mind. The bookstore’s range covers ancient philosophy, biographies, archaeology, and architecture.
