Whether you have been dreaming about figure skating, or have been practising independently, the folks over at Ice Skate Egypt are letting you in on their secrets to success with professional classes. If you work hard enough, you might just be representing Egypt soon at say, the Olympics?
In July 2019, the first-ever national figure skating championship was held in Sun City Mall, where Egyptian and foreign skaters competed under the watchful eyes of the judges. Way back in 2014, we were introduced to 14-year-old Egyptian-Russian skater, Amira Abdul Moati, who was training for the 2018 Olympics Winter Games in Korea. Who says you cannot pursue your dreams, too?
Coach Tereza Dos Santos Costa is giving lessons at Genena Mall on Saturday, the 11th of January, from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM to experienced skaters, and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM to beginner kids, but both classes require prior knowledge. If you’re a complete first-timer, you can catch her class from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
We recommend you start watching I, Tonya on repeat, and kick off your figure skating career by registering on Ice Skate Egypt’s website here, or emailing info@iceskateegypt.com, or visiting their Instagram page here.
