Over recent years, Egypt has become home to several unique music festivals and events that have kept us energetic and happy all year long. SANDBOX Festival, Red Bull’s SoundClash, Sanctuary Music Festival, Red Hot Chili Peppers at the Pyramids, Freedom Music’s Sound of London, and an upcoming concert by French Montana have all helped Egypt on its way to becoming a regional hub for the music industry.

Following suit, get ready for yet another musical experience as Egypt is about to witness an event which will see three international artists take the stage!  Will this be the year you finally get to attend a world-class concert? Well, it certainly could be, as the country – and the MENA region’s – bestselling and most popular artist (as well as World Music Award winner), Amr Diab, will be joining forces with British international superstar James Arthur, and well-known Turkish DJ Mahmut Orhan, for an event titled “The Lucid Fest”.  The Lucid Fest will be held on Friday the 19^th of April at the Game Field, at AUC’s New Cairo Campus.

This week, the AUC Student Union is set to launch the event’s scheduled line up to the masses, in addition to a glimpse of their past experiences with successful concerts across the years.
