Renowned for housing some of the best culinary destinations in the city, Downtown’s iconic hotel, The Nile Ritz-Carlton, takes it up another notch by hosting some of the world’s finest culinary masters in The Good Life Festival; a five-day event that is set to take place across the hotel’s various restaurants from the 1st to the 5th of April 2019.
The festival commences with a lavish cocktail reception on the 1st of April, before the chefs roll-up their sleeves and take over to unravel some of their craft’s secrets and techniques during the hands-on cooking classes that are set to take place at Bar’Oro, Nox, Bab El Sharq, and Vivo.
The list of the chefs includes Chef Gianni Mallao, Executive Chef at Hotel Romazzino; Eric Meloche, Director of Culinary Food and Beverage at Al Bustan Palace, Ritz-Carlton Muscat; Jesus Caballero, Executive Chef at Hotel Maria Cristina, and Ozgur Ustin, Executive Chef at St. Regis Hotel Istanbul.
The Nile Ritz-Carlton also joins in the festival with its very own Executive Chef Bugra Keles, as well as Executive Pastry Chef Chef Jean Francois Lavialle who will both share their expertise, with the latter demonstrating his delightful chocolate creations.
On the 4th of April, the gala dinner at Rooftop sees each master presenting a classic dish, which will all have a personal twist and will be featured on the night’s special six-course menu.
The Good Life Festival comes to a finale on April the 5th when The Nile Ritz-Carlton’s weekly brunch, From Farm to Table, will take place at Culina and offer a round of stations that features the chef’s creations that shines a light on a diversity of cultures.
