The new year has started, and we all know what that means; the Cairo International Book Fair is just around the corner. 2019 will witness the 50th edition of the Cairo International Book Fair, set to start on 23 January at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo. If you’re worried about your commute there, fear not, for there is quite a simple solution.

The Golden Jubilee of the Cairo International Book Fair will not be as difficult to reach as you think. You see, Mwasalat Misr has been chosen by the Fair’s organisers to be the official transportation sponsor of the event. Mwasalat Misr will be providing 32 large buses to transport visitors, starting from 23 January until 5 February, throughout the Fair’s duration.

Mwasalat Misr will also be offering a 35% discount on bus tickets for passengers who have the Mwasalaty Card, making the one-way ticket priced at 8 EGP instead of 12 EGP, giving visitors a clean, safe, and reliable transportation method to visit the Cairo International Book Fair without breaking the bank.

You can get your hands on that Mwasalaty Card from any bus driver on the M5 and M6 lines, the card is priced at 40 EGP, which is divided into 25 EGP as the card price, which is a one-time fee, plus 15 EGP in credit to be used on your commutes with Mwasalat Misr buses. You can recharge your card with any Fawry device, with a minimum of 20 EGP.

We’ve recently highlighted Mwasalat Misr’s collaboration with Google Maps to feature their bus routes on the traffic app, making life much easier for their users. It makes us proud to see such an affordable transportation method being continuously developed to serve the people of Cairo.
